• Masher Imprimis (Lotte): 1'st champ, Exc, 1'st BB, BOB - but without CACIB... Of all five dogs in our breed, Lotte was the only one who got Exc. The judge was very taken up that the dogs coat should be wiry and have good color.  Lotte had too short coat for the day, and then she has "too much pepper" (as the judge said) on her back. I hadn't expected anything today because of her short coat, so therefore I'm very pleased with this result.
• Incredible Me (Bamse): 1 kval, 1 konk. Bamse got a good review, but his left ear is very ”fluffy” and disturbs his expression, and therefore the judge didn't gave him Exc today.

As opposed to yesterday, this judge were generous with the "excellent". I think every bitch got excellent today... Nora won the open class. When the winner class should begin, it was very crowded in the ring.  Instead of the judge picked out four of the best, he placed everyone in the winner class... First he picked the five best, where Nora was placed as third. The judge used much time seeing the movements’, so they had to go new rounds and more "coming and going". At the end, all of the bitches were standing at the same place as first, and Nora became third best bitch, with the reserve cac. Think Lotte and I became number 7'th or 8'th, but it doesn’t mean anything.

In the Kerry-ring Rita and Keegan became BOS, and Keegan will soon get a new title; INT UCH when FCI confirms it. Congratulations to Rita! Must also gratulate Lill-Gørill and Eirik with BOS for their NemiJ J.

The weather in Oulu was very nice, sunny, windy and a bit could (because of the wind). I became very sunburned around my neck. My sun lotion laid right beside me, but who thinked about using it? - Not me... Again I was in company with Lill-Gørill and Eirik, Turid and Vivian from Leknes.

Our breed should originally been judged by Bolette Heering from Denmark, but because of too many entered miniature schnauzers, our breed got another judge; Kirsi Kentala from Finland. She was very slow in judging, so when it was our turned, the clock had passed 4 pm, and both we and the dogs were very tired of waiting.

It was entered 27 salt/pepper, where 16 of them were bitches and 13 of them were competing of the CAC. I handled Nora, and my sister-in-law Rita helped me with handling Lotte, since both where entered in the same class. The judge was very strict, and in the open class it was only Lotte who got "Excellent" and she went therefore 1'st open! At the end it was only six dogs with "excellent", and I was very tense about if Rita and Lotte would made it today. At the end Lotte became 3'rd BB with reserve CAC... Lotte wouldn't go the last round. She was tired of waiting the whole day, so Rita had a difficult job with getting her standing. Thank you Rita for a good job with handling Lotte!

Today the show was indoors, so the temperature was much better. Thank God for that, cause then we could stay and see that Lill-Gørill and Eirik’s Nemi (Jatzers Keira Bite Me) became BOS and BIS Junior, and Turid’s Emma (Chiwalis Red Villa Gemma) became BOB Puppy and BIS Puppy - Congratulations too all of them! Charlotte helped Turid with showing Happy (Chiwalis Copy-Cat) to 2'nd BB!

We had get wonderful weather reports from people who were on vacation in Bottenviken, and hoped to get some sun in Piteå when we get there, but no - we took the bad weather with us... Well, a bit warmer was it, about 15 degrees, but we haven't seen the sun so far... Many thanks to Lill-Gørill and Eirik for "houseroom" this cold day, and not at least for a pleasant company, also in company with Turid Vian, Kennel Chiwalis, who became BOB with Jippi (Chiwalis Not for Sale) this day!
